Hi Sharon, When making your case study slide deck for Onnit, did you design each presentation slide in Figma, then save as an image/ other format and place them in Google slides? I'm trying to find the most efficient route where I can design a beautiful case study and have it in slide form but also easily adapt it to my portfolio website. Thank you!

Hi Sharon, Thank you for your great content. I have a question, as I realized there are many things we need to collect before we understand and make decisions, could we use our own temple, and make it efficient? For example, use a refined template with many input questions covering who, what, when, etc information one by one, it would be a task for interviewers to give all input at once and a bit of poor experience on their side. It goes like not allowing them to speaking too much about none directly relevant bits, but just giving very specific questions listed and asking the interviewers to answer. it could be easier for us to efficiently get the points we need and save more time, once all basic info is gathered we can ask follow-up questions. It's like asking the interviewers to fill out a form verbally at the beginning. Was there anyone who has tried to your knowledge? Would you reckon this approach? if not what would be the reasons not to? Q2: Are you allowed to construct a layout of your own and paste it to whatever board you have been assigned during the challenge? Meaning, you bring your temple and paste it there before it and use it.

Is there a difference between a UX Portfolio Presentation and a UX Portfolio?

I see that's a great challenge to start now on UX that I'm entering on my 30s, but I think it's never too late to start all over again. I've been following you for a bit, since I began my UX/UI design journey. You are always incredibly informative, and I love you work you put into your videos. I will say that I am not convinced that UX/UI job openings will be secure in the future. AI is expanding rapidly and I think it will remove a lot of entry-level roles and make it more competitive overall. I forsee the importance of being an engineer alongside being a UX/UI designer if you want to secure a job. This is just me though haha

I'm watching your video on youtube about the case study you are addressing and researching portfolios I came to this site mahsakeyhani , if you can make any comments I would appreciate it.

I've been a UX designer for 21 years. If you have consistently worked in UK gov then you should switch to service design as quickly as possible as many gov departments no longer employ UX designers only service designers. Becoming a product designer is also a good path. In the UK at least pure UX designers are feeling a painful pinch when it comes to finding work and that is only going to increase. Employers are starting to look for unicorns more and more seeking individuals who can be both a full on user researcher and and a UX/UI designer. Some even want development included in the mix. I mentor young designers often and I always recommend they expand into product or service design rather than sticking with pure Ux. IMHO it is a dying field.
